Mackenzie Watson

My name is Mackenzie Watson and I am an Executive at winestore., a North Carolina based retail wine company. I joined the wine world in 2017 after graduating at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and attending a short stint of culinary school abroad in Milan, Italy. I quickly dove into wine education after being encouraged by my peers and began the WSET program. One of my favorite parts of my career is that I get to teach clientele and my team about wine in an easily digestible way. I want others to understand that wine is both approachable and fun. I love educating others in their wine journey. Outside of wine, the past few years have been filled with travel, my favorite being my most recent trip to Iceland, making roots in Wilmington, a cute coastal town, and spending time with my two Boston Terriers, Pluto and Maisy.
