Susan McDonald found her way to wine via the music business, where she was introduced to good wine by a colleague and discovered a new passion for making wine accessible and enjoyable. Susan has shared her love of wine in both retail and distribution but truly discovered her jam with Traveling Vineyard 9 years ago. As a Wine Guide, she delights in entertaining & educating her guests while she introduces them to wines beyond the basics and engaging new food pairings. In February Susan achieved WSET L2 with distinction. Susan is the Chief Registrar at her county Board of Elections. She proudly claims the Title “Cat Lady,” and shares her home in Warwick, NY with felines Phin & Dizzy. When she’s not working or enjoying a glass of wine with the cats, Susan spends her time kickboxing, horseback riding, supporting local political campaigns, and renovating her home.
