Amanda Voyles
Amanda is from Tallahassee, Florida and is a graduate of FloridaState University. She has worked in the service and hospitalityindustry for over ten years, and it was there that she found herlove and appreciation for wine and spirits. She is WSET Level 2certified, a recipient of the FLOurish Scholarship MentorProgram, and an active member of Women of the Vine andSpirits. Recently, she moved to Santa Maria, California, and isworking as a Harvest Intern at Bien Nacido Vineyard. She is anadvocate for women and minority equity and inclusion, especiallywithin the wine and spirits industry. She hopes to one day earnher Masters of Wine and is dedicated to lifelong learning. Herhobbies include spending time with friends, playing music,reading, and coming up with new cocktail recipes. She has a lovefor Italian wines, Aperol spritzes, and a good espresso martini.
I am incredibly grateful to have been selected as a recipient for aWomen of the Vine and Spirits scholarship. This scholarship willaid me in my pursuit of the WSET Level 3 in Wines certification.This certification is a significant financial undertaking, and thisgenerous scholarship has given me the financial support andfreedom to make my dream a reality. I would not have thisopportunity without the support of the amazing women I get tocall my mentors. It is my hope that in receiving this scholarship, Imay one day support and give back to the future generation ofwomen in the wine and spirits industry.
