I started my career in the wine industry in 2014 as an intern, slowly learning about the process of creating amazing wine fromgrapes. Throughout my experience, I have expanded myknowledge of data entry to include compliance, regulations, sustainability, accounting, and all aspects of production toproduce quality wines. I come from a diverse background, bothculturally and career wise. I earned my degree from BYU in 2011with the focus of sports medicine, but life had its own twists andturns that allowed my work experience in multiple fields thatincluded personal training, retail, food industry, tax assistant, correctional officer, and athletic coaching. During this journey, Iwas able to find a home at St. Francis Winery & Vineyards. Ideveloped a strong foundation of knowledge from incrediblepeople in different departments. I have been fortunate to comefrom a strong family of independent and intelligent individuals. Iam a first generation American on one side and third generationon the other. My parents have taught me to work hard, thinkindependently, and have courage. My goals include completingmy master’s degree and to be an asset in this industry.
I am very grateful to be a recipient of the Gallo Fuel Your DreamsScholarship. I am investing in my future by pursuing my executiveMBA at Sonoma State University with the focus in wine. My goalis to become a leader in this industry and inspire others to attainhigher education.
